Leave a gift in your will
By leaving a gift in your will, you can create a lasting legacy that supports children living in remote and very remote Communities across Australia. Your bequest will help ensure that future generations of Indigenous children grow up with access to books and stories that reflect their culture, language, and identity — a powerful gift that lives on.

What your gift can achieve
A gift in your Will can create a lasting and tangible impact. Here's how your legacy could support children in remote Communities:
- $10,000 can provide 1,000 brand new, culturally relevant books to remote Communities across Australia.
- $10,000 could help translate a beloved children's book, like The Very Hungry Caterpillar, into a First Language - preserving language and culture.
- $30,000 can fund the publishing of a Community story in language - a treasured resource for for future generations.
- $80,000 could support a young participant from a remote Community to complete a year of ILF’s Talent Pathways program, equipping them to work independently within the publishing industry from their Home Community.
Your bequest, whatever the size, will help ensure Indigenous voices and stories continue to thrive for generations to come.

Leave a lasting Legacy. No matter the size, a gift in your Will can make a powerful difference. It helps ensure that the Indigenous Literacy Foundation can continue delivering our Community-led programs to remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities across Australia.
By including a bequest to ILF in your Will, you're helping to ensure future generations of children grow up with access to books and stories that reflect their culture, language, and identity.
