How you can support

Every child deserves access to books that reflect their culture, language, and identity.

By supporting the Indigenous Literacy Foundation, you're helping share the joy of reading with children in remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities.

Whether you host an event, give in honour of someone special, or make a monthly donation - your individual support helps make a lasting impact.

Your Generosity Matters

Your support helps open doors to future opportunities - enabling the ILF to work with remote Communities through a truly Community-led approach.

With your generosity, we can respond to requests from Communities for books, literacy resources, and opportunities that reflect and celebrate their languages, cultures, and stories.

Our vision is simple, yet powerful: Reading Opens Doors — to identity, pride, knowledge and future opportunities.

"Alpurrurulam Community School is indebted to the kindness of the ILF Book Supply program. The program has given more books for our students to access, plus, has aided our teachers with more resources to teach literacy and content.” - Catherine McCormack, Classroom Teacher

Demand Grows Every Year

As more remote Communities connect with the ILF, the need for our programs continues to grow. Support us by being part of the story.
